We had a great pleasure to meet again, this time in Oslo. It gave us the opportunity to see how our partner lives and work in the capital of Norway (3-5/8/21). We met together in the FURIM’s office where we have discussed the project’s issues, especially the upcoming training course in Poland and finalize work on modules. We also talked about project’s promotion and visualization.
It was also the time for integration and explore the Scandinavian culture. We have visited the sport center Holmenkollen and taste a little bit of Norwegian cuisine.
We would like to thank our partners for hosting Us and show Us how slow life can be even if you live in a big city like Oslo.
Our association has been involved in non-formal education of children and youth in the field of health education for many years. Since our foundation in 2012, we have implemented many international projects: youth exchanges, training sessions and seminars, including Erasmus+.
As our greatest success we consider the development of innovative tools for youth health education: START NOW!. In the frame of the Erasmus + KA2 Program, for two years we have created 20 modern lesson modules, based on non-formal methods. We have implemented this project in partnership with organizations from Cyprus and Bulgaria. If You are interested please visit the page with lesson modules: www.startnow-learning.eu
We owe the place we are now to, above mentioned, START NOW! After two years, we decided to return to the modules, introducing further innovations in health education and expanding our cooperation with partners from Norway.
The headquarter of our association is in Opole, with which we have been associated from the very beginning. In the city, we carried out youth exchanges with Opole’s partner cities: Potsdam and Ivano-Frankivsk, and we met together with other partners, experts and local community, at conferences and seminars of our other projects.
Health education, however, is not the exclusive area of our activities. Together with our partner from Cyprus we have implemented a project in the field of counteracting sexual violence among young people. The results of which you can see at www.reactactprevent.com.
